REVIEW – Bury Tomorrow Live

This review is from a gig a few months back where I saw Bury Tomorrow at the O2 Ritz in Manchester. This was actually the third time I had seen the band live (once at Download 2016 then again supporting Architects last year) and they definitely did not disappoint.

This was part of their supporting tour for their most recent release, Earthbound, however during their 15 song set they played a mix of songs from different albums.

“The Eternal” was a great opener as it had been on the album which was then followed up by a few tracks I was less familiar with, nonetheless being Bury Tomorrow you can usually get a grasp of their choruses quick enough.

Later on in the set they got into more familiar territory, some great tracks of the last album such as “Cemetry”, “The Burden”, “Last Light” and then the title track were played before the encore.

Oh and Dani forgot the words of “301” which was partially sung by Jamey of Hatebreed on the original recording.

The night finished with an encore of my two favourite BT tracks, “Man on Fire” and then “Lionheart”. A welcome surprise. Throughout they were super tight and sounded great.

As far as I am aware, they are doing a few more shows in the UK before heading of to Europe but I would highly recommend going to see them if you get the chance.
